Your beloved puppy can now indulge in a doggie version of fine dining, thanks to a New York restaurant, The Wilson.
Coming up with a first-ever menu for dogs that can be shared with their human owners, the food is served in disposable plates on the food joint’s side patio or front terrace.
The Wilson’s first dog menu includes a 16 oz grilled ribeye steak with a side dish of grilled baby veggies and steak jus for $42. For its poultry selection, the restaurant offers grilled chicken breast that comes with baby vegetables for $16. Fish-loving pooches can savor pan roasted true north salmon that comes with steamed vegetables and lemon for $28.
The dogs can also get a bowl of mixed berries for $14 or a bowl of sliced apples and heirloom carrots for $11.
Of course, their human companions can order outside of the dog menu.
These dishes were inspired by Culinary Director Jeff Haskell’s experience in preparing dishes for an English Bulldog named Stella, who love soft scrambled eggs with salt and olive oil, as well as poached and pulled chicken.
